Seasoned with salt

This lesson continues Mike’s series from the book of Colossians.

Our words, our conversations, have the power to encourage, to build up, and to leave a good impression on others. On the other hand, those same words and conversations can leave others discouraged, disgruntled, and upset.

In our journey towards personal transformation (Colossians 3:1-10), Paul tells us that we will have many opportunities to impact others so we should strive to use our words wisely. As Peter says in 1 Peter 3:15, our words should be gentle and respectful.

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
