Where is God?
When troubles come, our first thoughts can often be, “Where is God?” Why would He let these things happen? Doesn’t he love me?
But rest assured, God didn’t bring you this far to abandon you.
The exodus of Israel from Egypt is a great example of God working. As the people of Israel were confronted by the Red Sea in front of them and the army of Egypt behind, they cried out in fear.
But God didn’t bring them that far based on His promises to simply abandon them.
And he won’t abandon you either.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
