This lesson is part of the continuing series from 1 Corinthians.
Perception is reality.
That’s what people say, but it’s not really true, is it? After all, one’s perception can be actually quite different than reality. But the point is that MY perception becomes MY reality because I act out of that perception.
In 1 Corinthians 9, Paul is dealing with a perception of the Corinthian church that he is somehow not a “legitimate” apostle.
Paul has never taken anything from the church in Corinth, and they have begun to “judge” that Paul – somehow – isn’t worthy of being paid!
Paul forcefully contradicts that idea. In this lesson, Mike talks about the responsibility of any church to care for God’s servants.
