Taking a break from the series on 1 Corinthians, Mike’s lesson this week is taken from Galatians 6.
The new year presents a whole new set of opportunities to impact the world. Interestingly, the word “opportunity” in the Greek language (kairos) is defined as “giving the right things the right measure of time.”
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people (Galatians 6:10 NIV).”
“Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders, make the most of every opportunity (Colossians 4:5 NIV)”
The right things; the right measure of time.
In this lesson, Mike illustrates that the difference between a problem and an opportunity is usually one’s “vision.”
Will you be sensitive to the opportunities God will bring your way this year?
And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
